Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy occurs due to the influence of the hormone Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), decreased tone of the muscles of the digestive tract so that the entire digestive tract experiences a decrease in the ability to move (Rofi'ah, 2019). According to the 2019 World Health Organization (WHO) Maternal Mortality Rate is the number of maternal deaths resulting from pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum which is used as an indicator of women's health status. According to WHO (2019) the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world is 303,000 people.Purpose: Describe the management of level I hypermesis gravidarum in Mrs "R" in TPMB Sayang Ibu, Wajo district. Methods: This study used a descriptive case study research design to describe the mother's knowledge about the management of grade I hypermesis gravidarum. Results: the case study shows that after observing for 1 week, the results show that Mrs "R" can accept and carry out recommendations during the provision of care so that Mrs "R"'s condition gradually improves. This is evidenced by the results of recent observations which showed that the mother's general condition was good, vital signs were within normal limits, nausea and vomiting had decreased and the mother's appetite had increased. Conclusion: that grade I hyperemesis gravidarum experienced by Mrs. "R" in her second pregnancy and never experienced nausea and vomiting in her first pregnancy so that we can understand that primigravidas do not always experience hyperemesis gravidarum but can also be experienced by multigravidas.Suggestion: It is hoped that the client will be cooperative in undergoing treatment and medication to facilitate the healing process.
