Gambaran Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Efek Samping Kb Suntik 3 Bulan Di Tpmb Mutiara Kasih Sengkang Kabupaten Wajo

Abstract

Background: This progestin injection contraceptive is a contraceptive that can prevent pregnancy in the mother by means of intra-muscular injections that work for 3 months and do not require daily use which contains the hormone progesterone and does not interfere with the process of producing breast milk. Purpose: This study was conducted to describe the mother's knowledge about the side effects of the 3-month injection of family planning at TPMB Mutiara Kasih. The method: used in this research is descriptive method. Results: After conducting research on the description of the mother's knowledge about the side effects of the 3-month injection of family planning at TPMB Mutiara Kasih, the interview results showed that the mother's knowledge about the side effects of the 3-month injection of family planning was lacking. Conclusion: From the results of the study regarding the description of the mother's knowledge about the side effects of the 3-month injection, it can be concluded that knowledge is very important in increasing the knowledge of the mother regarding the importance of knowledge about the side effects of the 3-month injection. It can be seen that the mother's knowledge is still lacking regarding the side effects of the 3-month injection because the researcher asked several questions but the mother respondent said she did not know.
